The Lounge for iOS
Chat, dictate messages, and create with The Lounge on iPhone and iPad.
The Lounge opens directly to a new conversation. Choose a model above the chat, type a message, and tap the send arrow. Use the plus button to attach a file. Available models and capabilities are listed in the model directory.
Conversations and tools
Open the sidebar in the top-left corner to return to a recent conversation, search your conversation history, or open projects, images, videos, and voice calls. All tools includes model comparison, Canvas, speech generation, live transcription, skills, connectors, and Sandbox Escape.
The new-conversation button starts a fresh chat. Open Conversation options beside the model selector for chat settings, temporary conversations, and saved conversation actions such as renaming, pinning, sharing, and forking.
In Video Studio, tap a saved prompt to expand its video. Preparing playback… means generation has finished and the playback link is being prepared; the player appears automatically when ready. If playback fails, Refresh video reloads the player and renews the playback link. If the link remains unavailable for a minute, automatic retries stop and the app prompts you to refresh.
Dictation and voice
Tap the microphone in the composer to dictate a message. Allow microphone access when iOS asks, speak, then tap Done to finish transcription. Review or edit the text in the composer before sending it. Cancel discards the dictation. Dictation uses an available transcription model and counts toward normal model usage.
Tap the waveform button in an empty composer to open voice calls. Choose a compatible model and voice, then start the call. Live transcription is also available separately under All tools.
If microphone access is denied, open the app's microphone settings from the recording screen. Recording stops when the app goes into the background or you leave the recording screen. You can switch from video playback to dictation, live transcription, or voice calls.
Appearance
The interface uses a neutral black-and-white palette in both light and dark mode. Open Your profile → Appearance to follow the system setting or choose a theme. This choice stays on the device after signing out.
